The initrd changed from a squashfs image to a cpio archive as part of
the initramfs transition.  I'll update the docs next chance I get, but
in the meantime, you can examine /usr/sbin/finnix-netboot-server,
which also extracts and re-creates the initrd server, to see the
necessary cpio commands.

The lack of email reply notifications in bbpress was annoying, and I
didn't want to put up with the constant barrage of spam that comes
with something like phpbb.  Mailing lists are easier to work with.

I don't see why it wouldn't, though admittedly I haven't tested it in awhile.
