The main initrd/minirt does not include any ethernet drivers, and
instead focuses on including ATA/SATA/SCSI/etc modules.  The
"finnix-netboot-server" script will (among other things) generate a
minirt at /var/lib/tftpboot/finnix/minirt_net that includes all
ethernet drivers for the booted Finnix kernel.  In fact, if you want
to have a permanent netboot server, you can just run
finnix-netboot-server and then use the contents of
/var/lib/tftpboot/finnix to start from.
