[finnix] FINNIX Installation on HD, making FS writeable

Hi all,

We have installed FINNIX on a Hard drive from the LiveCD since its
distribution type, size, memory footprint and included utilities are
perfect for our purposes. But we are having trouble making the home
directory persistent and are unable to find a work around squashfs.
Somehow even the command

"mount -o remount,rw /FINNIX"

can't seem to make the directory writable, which seemed to work well
with Knoppix's UNIONFS on a HD.

Need Help.
